Our students have become part of a Wai Care project- monitoring the quality of our water. Laura Torres from ‘Wai Care’ gave specialist instruction to our budding scientists as they learnt the nuances of record keeping while monitoring water quality in the Otara Creek.

Mask Making

A satellite class from the Hillary GKP unit recently opened. It is based at Robertson Rd School in Mangere and filled with 18 gifted and enthusiastic students. Thanks Robertson Rd for hosting this initiative.
The Polyfest Evolution Crew
Some GKP Hillary students are making a documentary about the evolution of Polyfest. They are proud of the cultural awareness in the community and aim to have the documentary finished by the end of the year.
