Professional Development - GiftNet 2006-2008

Waiho I te toipoto, kaua I te toiroa
Let us keep close together, not wide apart.

GiftNet, is three tier professional development programme that all GKP contributing schools are invited to participate in from 2006-2008. This project is funded by the Ministry of Education's Talent Development Initiative.

Our objectives for GiftNet are:

To increase opportunities and raise achievement of GKP students in their mainstream schools, in their area/s of talent;

For teachers in our contributing schools to be more aware of and better cater for the social and emotional needs of gifted students ; and

To further bridge the gap between GKP and contributing schools so that we can better work together to support GKP students.
